The media could not be loaded. This is one of those hidden gems on Amazon: a high-quality piece at a relatively affordable price. I've seen similar coffee tables at high-end furniture stores go for double the price or more! The elegant design is modern yet simple enough to fit into a variety of design aesthetics. It perfectly complements the modern eclectic/boho vibe of my sitting area. Check out the video I provided to see what I mean.  While it's not completely solid wood, the wood veneer on the base and tabletop is top-notch and beautiful, and the tamboured detailing appears to be made of solid wood slats. I also love the height of the table's edge, and the slats add visual interest, while the base keeps the overall design grounded and simple. It's sturdy and heavy enough to stay securely in place, even if you occasionally rest your feet on it (like I have the bad habit of doing).  Assembly was straightforward. It only required removing the base from the compartment in the tabletop and securing it with hex screws. There's a video in the product media above that shows you how to do it. You might need some help maneuvering and flipping it around, though.  It's pretty clear that I highly recommend picking this one up if you're considering it! Read more
